Cancellation: If the instructor cancels the class for any reason, your check will be returned. If you register then cancel at least seven days before class, your check will be returned.
Class Size: Minimum 4, participants must be 18 (unless accompanied by an adult).

Discover the wonderful possibilities of painting with this versatile and forgiving medium. If you like drawing, this class will show you how to combine drawing with the painterly application of the beautiful color found in pastels.
In this relaxed class atmosphere, you will learn about the best materials to use, techniques for applying the pastel to achieve different textures, and tools and products that give the artist a successful outcome for their painting.
Students will complete a landscape painting project on paper provided by the instructor.
Malia’s award-winning work has been included in state and national exhibitions. One of her paintings received a first-place award in the animal category of Pastel Magazine’s Pastel 100 Competition.
