Public Workshops, Saturdays at ClearWater Ceramics Center :

WORKSHOP DATES**Saturdays Sept. 13 and Oct. 18, 2025; 

TIME: Each Workshop runs 2:00 – 4:00 PM on its Class Date

REGISTRATION CUTOFF: Register by the Wednesday Preceding Workshop

NOTE: This posting stays up until Start Date of the last 2025 Public (as opposed to Family Public) Workshop, i.e. 10/18/2025. If you cannot enroll online due to Registration Cutoff, please call*, and a staff person may be able to help, if the class is not filled. They can also put you on a wait list for a future class.

CLASS DESCRIPTION: Perfect for individuals or small groups of any skill level looking to explore ceramics in a social and creative environment . At each event, instructors will explore various hand-building techniques to help participants create their very own unique ceramic art . (See list of Workshop Themes / Dates below).

**Workshop Themes / Dates:

Fall Flowers: September 13; register by September 10

Leafy Dishes: October 18; register by October 15

Min. 6 Students; Max 16

Materials included: All materials are included. Please allow 2–4 weeks for completion—we’ll notify you when your work is ready for pickup

AGES:  12 & Up

FEE:  $30 .00 per class ($35 .00 non-resident)

Registration can be done on-site at the Ceramics Center, the ClearWater Main Building, or other Parks & Recs Centers; online via https://secure.rec1.com/NC/concord-nc/catalog (cilck ‘Arts’ and then ‘Ceramics Center’); OR over the phone.

*You must create an account on the City Of Concord Civic Rec software platform for the Parks & Recreation department  🏃🧑‍🦽🏋️ … Your account can then be used for all future registrations for any ClearWater Arts program or Event Rental, and/ or any other City of Concord Parks & Recreation activities. 😃
