WORKSHOP DATES**: Saturdays Oct. 4, Nov. 1, Nov. 15, & Dec. 6, 2025;
TIME: Each Workshop runs 2:00 – 4:00 PM on its Class Date
REGISTRATION CUTOFF: Register by the Wednesday Preceding Workshop
NOTE: This posting stays up until Start Date of the last 2025 Family Public Workshop (12/06/2025). If you cannot enroll online due to Registration Cutoff, please call*, and a staff person may be able to help, if the class is not filled. They can also put you on a wait list for a future class.
CLASS DESCRIPTION: These workshops are for children* and adults of any skill level looking to explore ceramics in a social and creative environment . Each event, instructors will explore various hand-building techniques to help participants create their very own unique ceramic art (See list of Workshop Themes / Dates below).
*(Children ages 5-12 MUST be accompanied by a non-registered parent/guardian)

Pinch Pot Pumpkins: October 4; register by October 1
Holiday Luminaria Trees: November 1; register by October 29
Holiday Luminaria Snowmen: November 15; register by November 12
Holiday Ornaments: December 6; register by December 3
Min. 6 Students; Max 16
Materials included: All materials are included. Please allow 2–4 weeks for completion—we’ll notify you when your work is ready for pickup
AGES: 5 & Up
FEE: $30 .00 per class ($35 .00 non-resident)
Registration can be done on-site at the Ceramics Center, the ClearWater Main Building, or other Parks & Recs Centers; online via https://secure.rec1.com/NC/concord-nc/catalog (cilck ‘Arts’ and then ‘Ceramics Center’); OR over the phone.
